Ingredients

  1. pears, peeled, cored and shredded
  2. 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
  3. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  4. 1 tablespoon sugar

Directions

  1. Place all items in a microwave safe bowl.  Cover and microwave on high 2 minutes.
  2. Uncover and continue to microwave in 1 minute intervals, stirring occasionally, until the mixture attains a thick, spreadable consistency.
Keep refrigerated and use within seven days.
