Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 6 tablespoons sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons egg mix combined with 1/4 cup water
- 3/4 cup skim or one percent milk
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°
- Spray a 9 X 3 X 5 inch loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray.
- Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a large bowl.
- Cut in peanut butter with a fork. Add beaten egg mixture and milk; stir just enough to moisten dry ingredients. Pour into prepared pan.
- Bake 60 minutes or until wooden toothpick inserted near center comes out clean.
Try a slice for snacking or sandwiches. It makes yummy french toast.
