Ingredients
- 1/4 cup buttery spread, melted
- 3 cups fresh peaches, sliced
- 2 cups fresh blackberries
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 cup skim or one percent milk
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°
- In a bowl, combine peaches, blackberries and 1 tablespoon sugar, tossing gently.
- Coat a 9 x 13 inch pan with non-stick cooking spray and pour in 2 tablespoons buttery spread.
- Pour peach mixture into prepared dish.
- Combine 1 cup flour, remaining sugar and baking powder into a bowl.
- Stir while adding remaining 2 tablespoons buttery spread and milk.
- Pour batter over fruit mixture.
- Bake 1 hour or until golden brown.
