Fruited Slaw

Ingredients

  1. firm, ripe pears, diced
  2. apples, diced
  3. 2 tablespoons fruit juice
  4. 3 cups cabbage, shredded
  5. 1/2 cup raisins
  6. 1 cup non-fat yogurt
  7. 1 teaspoon fruit juice
  8. 1 tablespoon sugar

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, toss pears and apples with 2 tablespoons of fruit juice.
  2. Add cabbage and raisins; mix well.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together yogurt, 1 teaspoon of fruit juice and sugar.
  4. Add the yogurt mixture to the salad. Toss and refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
Make sure you keep the fruit juice separate for steps 1 and 3 in this recipe.
