Ingredients
- 1/4 cup buttery spread
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup oats
- 1/4 cup flour
- 3 tablespoons water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 cups fresh cherries, pitted
Directions
Preheat oven to 425°
- Cream together buttery spread, brown sugar and vanilla. Stir in oats, flour and water.
- Press mixture into a 9-inch pie plate that has been lightly sprayed with a non-stick cooking spray.
- Stir together the cherries and sugar. Pour into the crust.
- Bake until crust is golden brown.
Try frozen cherries, if fresh cherries are not available.
