Ingredients

  1. 1/4 cup buttery spread
  2. 1/4 cup brown sugar
  3. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  4. 1/4 cup oats
  5. 1/4 cup flour
  6. 3 tablespoons water
  7. 1/2 cup sugar
  8. 2 cups fresh cherries, pitted

Directions

Preheat oven to 425°
  1. Cream together buttery spread, brown sugar and vanilla. Stir in oats, flour and water.
  2. Press mixture into a 9-inch pie plate that has been lightly sprayed with a non-stick cooking spray.
  3. Stir together the cherries and sugar. Pour into the crust.
  4. Bake until crust is golden brown.
Try frozen cherries, if fresh cherries are not available.
