Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons buttery spread
- 1 pound Brussel sprouts, outer stems and leaves removed
- 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup fat-free half-n-half
- 1/2 cup cheese, grated
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil.
- Add Brussel sprouts, and boil 8-10 minutes.
- Drain Brussel sprouts, and chop coarsely.
- Transfer to prepared baking dish, and toss with red pepper flakes and black pepper.
- Spread Brussel sprouts evenly, and pour cream on top. Sprinkle with cheese and breadcrumbs, and dot with buttery spread.
- Bake approximately 15 minutes or until bubbly, golden brown.
Careful! Overcooking causes Brussell sprouts to lose their bright green color.
