Ingredients
- 3/4 pound ground beef
- 2 Tablespoons egg mix combined with 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup oats
- 3 ounces non-fat evaporated milk
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1/4 cup, 2 Tablespoons chopped onion
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/8 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°
- In a bowl, mix beef, egg mixture, oats, evaporated milk, pepper, garlic powder, chili powder and 1/4 cup onion.
- Form into 1 1/2 inch balls and arrange in a single layer in a baking dish sprayed iwth a non-stick cooking spray.
- In a separate bowl mix ketchup, garlic, brown sugar and 2 Tablespoons onion.
- Pour evenly over meatballs.
- Bake uncovered 1 hour.
Make extra meatballs and freeze to serve for a later meal. Eliminate BBQ sauce and add spaghetti sauce for an Italian version.
