Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons egg mix combined with 1/4 cup water
- 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/2 cup raisins
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°
- Sift flour, soda, cinnamon and nutmeg into a bowl; set aside.
- In separate bowl, mix vegetable oil and sugar.
- Add egg mixture and beat until light and fluffy.
- Gradually add oil mixture and applesauce to flour mixture alternating the oil and applesauce. Add raisins; mix well.
- Spread mixture into a 9 x 13 inch baking pan sprayed with a non-stick cooking spray.
- Bake 25-30 minutes or until done. Cut while warm.
Wrap individual bars in plastic wrap for a lunch box treat.
