Simple Peach Sorbet

  1. 3 cans peaches, no sugar added
  2. 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  3. 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla


  1. Place unopened cans of peaches in freezer for 8 hours or until solid.
  2. Place unopened cans in a hot water bath for 1 minute.
  3. Open each can and pour any thawed juice into a food processor or blender.
  4. Add lemon juice and vanilla.
  5. Remove fruit from each can, and carefully cut into chunks.
  6. Place frozen fruit in food processor or blender, and process until smooth.
  7. Serve or freeze until ready to serve.
Try other canned fruit such as apricots or mixed fruit.

Depending on equipment, processing may need to be done in two batches.
