Peanutty Chocolate Crunch

  1. 1/3 cup semisweet chocolate pieces
  2. 2 tablespoons chocolate-flavored syrup, sugar-free, fat-free
  3. 2 1/2 cups rice square cereal
  4. 1 cup whole bran cereal
  5. 1/3 cup peanuts


  1. Lightly coat a large foil sheet with non-stick cooking spray, and place on a flat work surface.
  2. Combine chocolate pieces and chocolate syrup in a large saucepan.
  3. Stir over medium-low heat until chocolate pieces are melted.
  4. Remove from heat and add cereals and peanuts to melted chocolate.
  5. Toss to coat, then spread onto prepared foil to cool completely.
This makes a great snack at the ballgame or at home.
